Fabuluous doll, circa 1891! She is a 19" tall shoulder head bisque on a leather body, with bisque hands. The marks on the shoulder plate read 'B germany'. The bisque is very pale, the eyebrows are multistroke, and the eyes are a wonderfully threaded dark brown. She has an open/closed mouth and an extra pouty expression. The wig appears to be very old and is dark brown mohair. The head is on a leather body with bisque hands, in very good condition. All of the clothes (dress, slip, drawers)are of fabric that is very old, the lace on the dress is exquisite. She has no flaws that I can see.
