This is a extremely desirable 18" closed mouth pouty by JD Kestner. The doll has is incised '9'. The bisque is exquisite with excellent painting and detail. She has a closed mouth, gray-blue heavily threaded stationery eyes and a blonde human hair wig attached to her original plaster pate. Her ears not pierced. She is on a ball jointed composition body, with jointed wrists that still has it's original finish. Her antique dress is of the finest lightweight wool, tan with a tiny pink floral design. Her shoes are antique,marked '6'. This is a great doll by a premier german maker. She has no flaws, chips, cracks or hairlines.
