More Things to Do – Make a Weekend of It!

Winter in San Diego is pretty amazing, 72 degrees and sunny – and palm trees!  This is a premier two day show, so you will want to come in early and stay for the weekend. Get some sand between your toes at the beach or enjoy any of the other wonderful things to do in the area! A premier artist will be conducting pre-show classes that you will not want to miss:

‘Kit’ the Cat Workshop with Art Rogers, Friday, Jan. 16

1869 art

Acclaimed artist Art Rogers will be conducting a workshop for you to make Kit the cat.  Art is known for his quirky, imaginative designs that are immensely popular with collectors.  You will be able to benefit from his instruction on needle felting and adding the eyes and nose to create just the right expression. Click here for registration information!

The hotel room block is at the Ramada Inn adjacent to the Al Bahr facility and expires January 5. The rate is $89 per day – ask for the Doll & Teddy Bear show rate. Phone: 800-447-2637
