Steampunk has its roots in the Victorian era and the fantastical works of such authors as Jules Verne, H.G. Wells, and even Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein to some degree. The elements of time travel, mad science, combining the natural with the mechanical, and Victorian costumes are common. After completing the class, your steampunk rosette can be a pin, necklace, top for a trinket box, and as an accessory for a top hat.
You will learn to make a rosette with the steampunk flair. Many of the parts are from Diana’s fathers jeweler store and others are new. Watch and pocket watch parts will be used. Your kit will include everything that is pictured. Everything used in the picture are what will be in your kits plus more. Diana will provide the kit and all class materials.
